Divine your Confident Self

Dear high school young woman,

You are invited to participate in a special afternoon workshop to explore and connect with your personal gifts and inner strengths. Using art activities, guided meditation, and circle sharing, you will connect with others facing similar stresses, relax and visualize your divine inner confidence, then drop into the creative flow. You will create and take home a powerful visual reminder that reflects the sensation of being content living in your body and the somatic feeling of confidence. When you look at it every morning, your body will remember how it feels to own your desires and feel the confidence that you have “what it takes”.

What are the things that concern you most? School work? College applications? Relationship issues? This workshop provides a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space where, through guided imagery, you will visualize your current and future divine self. You will experience what it feels like to know everything will be OK, that you are in a good place, and that you have what it takes to create a satisfying life for yourself. Imagine what it would feel like to know in your body and heart that everything will be ok.

Please feel free to share with others. Everyone who has experienced one of the workshops has found it educational and empowering.

Work exchange available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Impressions from Claire, a workshop participant in Sept. 2018:

“When I got home that day, I immediately put it (my artwork) up on my cork board next to my other favorite art and the places I want to apply to college. It’s across from my bed so I can see it. It gives me a sense that I am going to be ok, which is really important because a lot of the time it’s hard to feel that. I know from this small reminder that I’m going to be ok and I’m going to be able to pursue what I want and that I have a good head on my shoulders.. Plus this small piece of art that I created that is so expressionist reminds me I can know myself, because not knowing myself is really scary so it reminds me that I can feel confident in myself and my future. I’ll even take it to college with me!”
